Scenario
This play is set in the village hail. If performed on a stage with curtains, the first and third scene can be played in front of the curtains, which should have posters advertising viiiaye events displayed on them, giving the date e.g flower show, 24th May, 1999 and so on.
The second scene can be set back on the stage with curtains back, again with posters showing events and dates, e.g. St. Peter’s Church Social evening, 24th May 1940. A long table with chairs round is set for a committee meeting. The main characters of Kath and Margaret should learn their lines, but those sitting round the table may have the script in front of them
The posters should have the war time notice on one side and the present day notice on the other. If there are no curtains, Dolly the cleaner comes on and turns the posters round.
